To commemorate the fifth year of “Small Business Saturday”, American Express has given five “Main Streets” around the country professionally-designed holiday makeovers. The makeovers are meant to celebrate small businesses.
Lincoln Square has been chosen by American Express to receive one of the five “Main Street” makeovers, given its small-town feel in a large urban market.
Designer Adam Zollinger has come up with a concept that incorporates “800 ornaments, 3,000 feet of lights and 4 14-foot Christmas trees” highlighting the décor of the square. You can view the makeover along Lincoln Avenue, between Lawrence and Leland.
Head on over to Lincoln Square this holiday season to soak up the atmosphere and support the businesses that make the Lincoln Square neighborhood one of the most unique neighborhoods in the city.
