New Restaurants in Lakeview for 2017

Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood is already home to many great restaurants. If you’ve made a new year’s resolution to try something new in 2017, you’re in luck. There are some great new restaurants that have either opened recently or will be opening soon in the Lakeview neighborhood. Below are some of them.

Jennivee’s Bakery

Jennivee’s Facebook page says that they will be opening very soon. The signage is already up at their 3301 N Sheffield Avenue location. The late-night bakery plans on serving cake until 2 am. While it may not be the best thing for your new year’s diet, their cakes look delicious.

Gundis Kurdish Kitchen

The recently opened Gundis Kurdish Kitchen prides itself on being Chicago’s first restaurant dedicated to Kurdish food. If you’re a fan of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern cuisine, you might want to give Gundis a try. The new restaurant is located at 2909-2911 N Clark Street. Kudo

If you’re looking for a new, quick lunch spot, Kudo has you covered. Recently opened at 3933 N Broadway, Kudo offers kebabs, burgers and similar quick meal options.

1353 W Cornelia Avenue

The owners of the popular Crosby’s Kitchen are planning a new restaurant at 1353 W Cornelia Ave. Eater recently reported that the owners have secured a liquor license for the new restaurant, but other details like the name and cuisine have yet to be announced.
